A sand sculpture of a human back slowly disintegrates into the ocean’s tides. The process involved using a vacuum form of a scoliotic back to make an imprint into the sand.
Interspersed with footage of the Atlantic Ocean meeting the most westerly point of England.
This work was inspired by contemporary disability studies literature. It evolved while reflecting on the importance of rest, for us all, within today's systems of capitalist domination.
Filmed on iPhone SE. The film’s glitches are woven into an extra-terrestrial soundscape.
