A sand sculpture of a human back slowly disintegrates into the ocean’s tides. The process involved using a vacuum form of a scoliotic back to make an imprint into the sand. This work was inspired by contemporary disability studies literature. It evolved while thinking about the importance of rest, for us all, within today's systems of capitalist domination.
